International agency in Appenzell (Bühler AR) seeks graphic designers (print & web), and desktop publishing experts for full and part-time positions effective immediately.

Responsibilities

• Compose layouts for ads, brochures, catalogs, etc.
• Website deaign, banners ads, html email templates
• Create chart work, line art, etc.
• Manipulate photographs for comp work ie.
• Scanning and light re-touching
• Prepare all digital files for pre-press
• Provide assistance with new business presentations

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
• Excellent design and layout skills
• Excellent graphic skills
• Strong typography and color theory
• Knowledgeable about print production, pre press and press checks
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written: English & German
• Knowledge of current design trends and techniques
• Color correction and retouching experience
• Photography skills a plus
• Expert knowledge of Adobe CS3 (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic web/programming a plus (html)

• Must be detail-oriented, hard-worker and creative
• Must have a high level of attention to detail
• Must be able to work on a tight deadline
